Wendy is a single mum of three boys and two very fluffy cats. Wendy has worked as a primary teacher for over 20 years and spent the last 7 years supporting children with complex needs in a special needs school. Wendy now works as a children’s coach, supporting children and families to find the future they deserve.
I support children with additional needs that are struggling in their day to day lives.
They may struggle to build friendships with others or be reluctant to try new things.
They may not be able to fully access education, lack confidence or may struggle to express themselves.
I can help by supporting children to understand their emotions and feelings, enabling them to gain confidence in their own abilities and the resilience to tackle any challenge.
Throughout my career I have been passionate about recognising and supporting children’s individual needs along with nurturing their wellbeing and mental health. It is amazing to see children transform into happy, confident and resilient children through the support I provide.
“The change in my son’s confidence and how he now manages his anxiety is amazing to see and it has really rebalanced our homelife – I would definitely recommend.” Michelle, parent
“It has definitely helped me and made me more confident. You think you might not be able to do something but once you’ve given it a go, you’ll be able to do it.” Oliver, aged 13
“By being able to process their feelings in a better way the children have been accessing learning much more successfully.” Sarah, teacher
